Mother's Day with Family 2011

This is Tyler, my nephew.  He is adorable and extremly active!  He keeps us all hoping!  My precious little girl and her favorite blanket “B” in the whole world.  It is LOVED!  Cousin Abby is helping to get Addie laughing and smiling:)!  She is an awesome Niece!I always find that families want the perfect posed picture of everyone looking at the camera.  I think my favorites are when you don’t!  REAL life pictures are my all time favorites.  Remember this when you go to photo sessions.  No stress is the best policy.  FUN makes for the best funny adorable framable pictures!  Tyler doesn’t sit still for anyone.  And i love it:).  These pictures are a moment in time that we will all look back on and giggle remembering his busy ways!  My other sweet nephew, Nicholas.  Doesn’t he just have scrumptious eyes!  I could just eat him up:). My son cracks me up here!  I caught him squeezing Nicholas’s cheeks.  He thinks he is so funny!  And i agree.I love you Caleb!Pat a Cake

Bakers man…..An attempt to get a family picture of my sister-in-law and family:).  I love Tyler’s pose best!  It makes me laugh!  Plug those ears.For my mother’s day, i bribed my kids with icecream to sit by each other so i could take some pictures of them.  It looks like they sat there forever but i can assure you, my children are just as busy as yours!  I just have a really fast camera!  I took about 30 images in one minute.  All the while they were wiggling and talking.  This is the perfect reason to hire a photographer for your pictures:).  We have the goods to get it done:)!     I just love these two cutie pies!  They are the light of my life along with my husband!  Of course he was not photographed.  That is a whole nother issue that i will never conquer!:) That’s all folks!  I hope you had an amazing an special mother’s day this year too!

Birthday’s tend to be dispised as we grow older, but not for me!  I love them!  It is one day when everyone who knows you smiles and says “Happy Day”!  I love all that positive talk.  It makes me so happy and i feel loved.  Thank you to everyone out there who tells their loved ones happy birthday.  Everyone should feel happiness and joy on their birthday!  My amazing husband has really suprised me with his ability to lisen to all the things i say and remember them.  He and my kids woke me up this morning singing happy birthday, cha cha cha!  They then gave me a new phone case, which i have been complaining about my old one and how it pulls out my hair, and it just kept getting better.  The kids and i made me a birthday cake.  THe images below are adorable of my kids cooking my cake.  It might not have been the most sanitary creation but it sure was full of love.  My husband then brought home mexican food and we followed it up with some margaritas and family fun.  He ended the night with a present to a spa for a massage, which i have been talking about my soreness from all the painting and plastering i’ve been doing.  Again, he heard me and acted!  Yeah hubby!  Love you and blessed to have you in my life everyday.      

 I am so happy to say that this last fall was one of my busiest season’s yet as a photographer!  …

Today we got our first snow good snow in oklahoma!  My kids and i geared up and ran out to take some photos and have some fun!  They are so stinkin’ cute!  They wanted to catch snow flakes on their tongues, have a snow ball fight, and create snow angels.  We had a blast!  And it lasted a whole 45 minutes!  I have to say that has to be a record!  My kids tend to decide they don’t like the cold after only a few minutes.  So this year i was prepaired and bought the kids winter boots and bibs!  (The idea of going to buy bibs for her and her grown up brother was quite confusing!  She helped pick them out and now she loves to say they have new bibs.  It is so funny!)   

Fall Family Christmas picture sessions are so fun and end my year on a high note!  Check out all these great families i have had the priveledge to photograph recently….
